TERMS CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE OWNER'S RISK
- All consignment are carried entirely at Owner’s risk. Owner’s should take out their own insurance to protect from any or all risk. The Company shall not be responsible for any transit loss, damages, theft, weather, leakages and breakages. Carriers acts Liability is only applicable if value charges paid in advance at the time of Booking.
- The company shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the goods due to pilferage, theft, weather conditions, strikes, riots, disturbances on road, fire explosion, heavy rains, flood, lightning or accident PROVIDED, however, all necessary precautions & measures are adopted to protect / safeguard against such contingencies.
- Teh Company shall not be responsible, if the goods are detained, seized or confiscated by the Government Authorities.
- The Company shall not be responsible for all consequences of any incorrect or false declaration by the Consignor.
- The Company shall not be responsible for leakages to the liquid items or breakages to the Fragile items or else.
- The Company shall not be responsible for the goods entrusted to carriage, provided non-delivery is reported within seven days Direct Consignment, in case of Bank Through Documents the transaction must be completed within 45days or the Company is not responsible. Goods will be delivered the consignee party Proof of delivery till 10 days is free. But after 10 days till 3 months Rs.50/- per consignment extra proof of delivery charges will be extra on written letter and with valid reason after 3 month it will be charged extra Rs.500/-, After 6 months from the date of booking proof of delivery will not be given.
- The Court in NASHIK CITY alone shall have jurisdiction inspect of all claims and matter arising under the consignment or of the goods entrusted for transport.
- Demurrage will be @Rs.2.00/- for per item per day after 7 days & Goods will be stored only up to 90 days Maximum.
- Freight will be charged on goods at and for minimum 50kg per Parcel.
- Lianbility of company for any loss / damage of goods will be 60% of invoice value declared on the excluding GST or 3 Lakhs, whichever is lower.
- Re-booking will be effected only after when the payment of our dues is done in advance to the Company, at the station where it is booked.
- If the consignee fails to take the delivery of the material within 90 days the company reserve the right to sell the same by public auction, giving 15 days prior final notice to consignor / consignee. The different of short fall of amount of any due to the company will be recovered from consignor / consignee.
- Delivery inquiry should be done within 15 days.
- The ownership to damaged goods, against which claim is issued, will rest to P.D Transport Company.
